Burke Rix Communications has years of working on campaigns from local council races to statewide initiatives. The firm recently ran the Measure J campaign for the City of Palm Springs raising the sales tax to provide funds to revitalize their downtown.
Partner Brian Rix worked with Los Angeles Unified School District Superintendent Roy Romer on passing three construction bonds resulting in over 12 billion dollars for school construction. He similarly worked with Chancellor Mark Drummond of the Los Angeles Community College District on two bonds for 4.5 billion to build new facilities on the nine campus system.
On the City and County level the firm has been involved with many local Los Angeles City Council races, citywide races and ballot initiatives. The firm has also worked extensively in Los Angeles County races representing clients such as Sheriff Lee Baca and County Assessor Rick Auerbach and newly elected Assessor John Noguez.
